Indiana's 'SkyLake' theme park receives final approval, set to open in 2026

SHERIDAN, Ind. (WKRC) — A company has received final approval necessary to proceed with the construction of Indiana's newest theme park.

According to a press release, Monarch Ventures, LLC has received final approval to proceed with SkyLake, a theme park development poised to become Indiana's premier year-round nature adventure destination.

The Sheridan Town Council approved the necessary rezoning for the 126-acre site at the northwest corner of U.S. 31 and 216th Street on May 6, following a favorable recommendation from the Sheridan Plan Commission.

SkyLake is designed as an immersive theme park centered around a nature-based, self-paced experience. It will offer activities for all ages, blending serene settings with high-thrill attractions. The park aims to empower guests, from toddlers to grandparents, to curate their perfect day.
